Illegal Immigration in America (especially focus from Mexico)
3.The purpose- Why are you doing this action?
First of all, it’s already breaking the law because doing something illegal is not right. The illegal immigration is a big problem in a lot of countries and we choose to focus on America because it’s the country that receive a lot more immigrants from different countries than any other states and a lot of them are illegal. Because of this, it affects the society as well as the quality of life in America but a lot of people don’t know about this until they really experience it.
4.The message- Why should people be informed about this issue?
Some people don’t know the truth behind the pictures they see in newspaper or magazines about immigrants leaving their child to go to America to have “a better living”. We want people to know the actual fact and truth behind these and let them speak up about what they think is right and wrong. We want to tell people in order to make them realize that a lot of the illegal immigrants are getting benefits that the US citizens don’t get. Raising awareness in school and suggesting a theory of raising national Income in Mexico by Internet is what we’re most focus on.
5. A goal- make sure this is a project that can be done and hopefully continued. Show people and tell them what is really happening in this issue and as we said before, the truth behind it. While telling people about this topic, we wish to educate them and let them learn more about this issue and hopefully inspire them to help such as supporting us and other groups that are working on this issue, or supporting big organizations out there in order to help prevent/reduce immigrants from coming to America/other countries illegally. We not only want to encourage students to participate and spread this issue/topic, we also like parents or relatives to know about this. We can do this to emphasize the point of illegal immigration and to persuade people about this issue with evidences and statistics. Our main goal is also to persuade and encourage as many people as possible to donate to legitimate organizations which are trying to build the borders between Mexico and America.
6. Since our group want to raise awareness of illegal immigration we will tell people around us what is happening with in this topic and the important information about it. Then we would like to tell people from all around the world.
7. We would like to make a poster in a created website. We will make the poster very affective for people to actually understand illegal immigration is a serious issue and not just something that passes by. The poster, website will be specific and detailed. We would also like to educate people about the effects of illegal immigration and how we could stop it.
